# Create a webhook

> Registers a durable callback URL for this workspace. After a call or
batch completes, every matching subscription receives the same signed
POST as the optional per-request `webhook_url` on create-call / create-batch.

Registering the same URL again returns the existing subscription instead
of creating a duplicate — so Make (and similar tools) can safely retry
attach. Pass `events` to subscribe to a subset; omitted events default
to both `call.completed` and `batch.completed`.
